A team that is ready to help you!

S & S Repair & Restoration was created out of necessity as the owner resides in an area that sees a lot of seasonal flooding and other water damage. 


As neighbors and friends continued to suffer from the rivers and lakes flooding their homes and businesses year after year, it quickly became clear there was a need for more help in the area. The lakes and rivers are not going anywhere, so there was truly a need for help. No matter how much equipment S & S Repair and Restoration purchased over the years to be prepared, there always seemed to be more folks that needed assistance.

A commitment was made by S & S Repair and Restoration to service residents and business locally in the McHenry, Fox Lake and all surrounding areas. Working with families and businesses locally helped build S & S Repair & Restoration into a strong and growing company in the community.

S & S Repair & Restoration is committed to being your local solution for all roofing and property restoration needs. We can do all cleanup and restoration services for fire, flood, water and storm damage disasters. Our professional management team and IICRC technicians will work hard to get your home or commercial property back to original condition. A disaster can be defined as any tragic event with great loss stemming from events such as earthquakes, floods, catastrophic accidents, fires, or explosions. We have worked extensively to help property owners recover following these events. We streamline the insurance claim process for you.  Many insurance companies simply cut a check for obvious damages and leave the home and hope it's a done deal. An insured is often unaware that just because the insurance paid a certain amount, there could be additional and subsequent damages that were unseen. An insurance company will pay for additional damages not originally found or seen the first time around. If an insured never had a claim before, they tend to not know all the ins and outs or the terminology needed to get the repairs paid for.  Negotiating with the insurance company can be a full-time job and is often time-consuming and extremely stressful. Working with S&S Repair and Restoration can save a ton of time and stress for an insured because we do this all day long. You do not pay extra for us to do this work for you if you are our customer. We handle interior and exterior claims such as wind, hail, flooding, fire etc.

"Jack and his team were amazing. Somehow they managed to fit my very needed work in as we were in the process of selling the house, but were also considering staying. So we asked Jack to estimate and take care of a wide variety of work to include; a removal of a large skylight and the related roofing, repairs and painting, and an estimate on another roof over my deck we hope to put up next Spring. The work was excellent, but you must book their work well in advance as they are clearly busy due to the good word of mouth out there on Jack and his company. Jack also provided keen insight to existing and future projects while helping with smaller ones while his crew were at work. I was able to reach out to him frequently and get the assistance we needed. They are not where to go for a cheap price and cheap work. However, if you want solid work definitely invite Jack for an estimate. We will again."

"Well here with are with a functioning house again, and it is beautiful too. Jack and Bobby and all of their crew know what they are doing and will help your project move forward in the best way possible. We had water damage under our kitchen sink. The cabinets floors were warped and we found more damage below. S&S came in and did some testing, and found that the laminate flooring was affected also. As soon as we had insurance approval, they came in and started water damage mitigation. They talked to us about how we wanted to handle the repairs and what made the most sense financially. Many of you know when I came home from seeing Bay in Florida I came home to some crazy stuff. What was suppose to be a simple tile job turned into me getting a plumber, finding a leak in my roof and gutting my whole bathroom out. Then I had to get someone to fix my roof-so then in search for a roofer. I was stressed and sick to my stomach. The guy that did my roof wouldn't return my 3 phone calls. What a disaster. I didn't know what to do-so I got on my knees and asked God to send me a roofer that wouldn't take advantage of me in such a fast desperate situation. I found one. His name is Perry. You need help with your roof and want someone with integrity-give him a call. I am a tough one and he passed with flying colors. Grateful
